Mandi: Exploring Italian-Canadian Heritage Through Sound
Toronto-raised, London-based musician David Zucchi has released his debut solo album, Mandi, a deeply personal exploration of family history and the Italian-Canadian immigrant experience. Released through the Toronto-based label people | places | records, this album reconstructs and reimagines audio recordings made by Zucchi's father’s family in 1959—just eight years after emigrating from Italy to Canada.
